I'm using the following setup:
Motherboard: ROG STRIX Z890-A GAMING WIFI
Fans: 4x 120mm M25 + 8x 140mm M25
Lighting Kit: Phanteks NV9 Premium DRGB Kit
Everything was initially connected to the DRGB controller, but I noticed that the fan lights would randomly flicker. I suspected that the controller wasn’t drawing enough power.
To troubleshoot, I connected both the fans and the NV9 Premium DRGB kit directly to the motherboard’s ARGB header. This resolved the flickering issue, but the NV9 Premium DRGB kit only lit up halfway, possibly due to a compatibility issue between the motherboard and the NV9 DRGB kit.
My final fix was to connect the fans to the motherboard's ARGB header and the NV9 Premium DRGB kit to the NV9 case’s DRGB controller. Now, everything is working perfectly.
The kit looks and fantastic and isneasybto install. When I first booted up my computer after the install, the bottom right section of the strip did not light up. To fix this I had to change my mobo to putnout enough power for the 150 leds in the strip instead of the standard 120.
Waited for something that has took awhile to get and then when it comes it was for a nv7 instead of the nv9 had to send back and now I will wait some more
