I built a PC in 2020 using the Eclipse P300 tower, and recently broke the glass side panel in an accident. In the P300, the panel is mounted from the side, rather than the rear. After searching the internet for a while, it appeared that the P300 parts were no longer being sold-- only parts for the P300A case (like this one) were available. As the P300A side panel is rear-mounted rather than side-mounted, I called Phanteks at their customer support line to ask if the P300A panel would be able to fit my P300 case. After SPECIFICALLY ASKING about this while stating multiple times that my old panel was side-mounted and that I had a P300 case, I was told with certainty that it would fit.
Surprise! When the panel arrived, it absolutely didn't fit. When I contacted Phanteks again to ask about this, I was told that the P300A parts weren't actually compatible with my P300 case. I was able to get a return label and ship the panel back, and am awaiting my refund. While I love my P300 case and have had no issues with it, this kind of misinformation from their customer service is unacceptable. Wasted my money and hours of my time.
