A strategically placed fan behind the motherboard tray actively cools the VRM and RAM while pulling GPU exhaust away from the mainboard.

The EX5 lineup supports mainboards that start from PCIe slot 1. These are often entry-level ATX and mATX mainboards. In this configuration, the EX5 lineup supports GPUs up to 4.6 slots thick.

    • Slot 1 Layouts (Entry ATX / mATX): Accommodates heavy-duty graphics cards up to 4.6 slots thick on motherboards with a Slot 1 primary PCIe position.
    • Slot 2 Layouts (Standard ATX): Fits modern GPUs up to 3.6 slots thick across the vast majority of mainstream motherboard designs.
