I got the non-RGB version and a quantity of two of the three-pack, and the result in terms of performance is great. Slick design, smooth airflow, little to no noise, easy cable management, and it's affordable and budget-friendly. What more could I ask for?
So I personally use d30’s and love them but my niece had her 14th birthday and I wanted to get her new fans with out spending 300 bucks. So I tried the m25’s and other then having to cut the tabs off the ends that join 2 fans together for them to fit in the case I can’t complain. Their cheaper than most but don’t feel super cheap and so far appear to be working excellently in her case
These fans are so frustrating to install. Strange, non-standard connectors that require adapters which are not always included. I bought 9 fans and only received two of the adapter cables so I had to do a bunch of strange daisy chaining to get them all to work. Phanteks, why can't you just put standard connectors on the fans? The installation of these fans was, without a doubt, the worst experience of my 25 years of PC building.
The price to performance before the tariffs was stunning. I've been using Phanteks fans for the better part of a decade and the performance and quality of life features keeps improving; from blade design, daisy chaining, fashion caps for the mounts, and physically linking of the fans. Just wish there was a non-RGB reverse blade. Solid final purchase of a Phanteks product until the tariffs are absolved.
The lack of daisy chaining and lack of being able to control each LED without the controller is really a bummer, especially since the back of my case is already full of wires and extra controllers for my other lighting. Just another 2 controllers I have to get due to having 10 fans and each controller allowing up to 9 fans each.
