Hey+phanteks+you+didnt+send+me+any+controler+the+aio+and+pump+fan+dont+light+up+guys+...+
For starters, the fan is bigger in every way and also has a very deep curve to provide amazing airflow to the VRMs, primary M.2 and even the memory. Not only that, but the copper plate is larger than the previous models. It uses the amazing D30 fans which are 30mm thick rather than the standard 25mm fans that basically almost every other company uses. Also, there is NO NEED for a hub of any kind. I have no idea what the other guy is talking about due to needing a hub.. I have all 11 of my fans and AIO plugged into my motherboard.
The infinity mirror is perfectly seated in the middle and has no wobbly appearance because it's built into the pump fan rather than being a sticker like the M25 fans. I have the 420 version and it keeps my 9800X3D temps at or below 40° which is amazing temps for an AIO. Extremely quiet pump, pump fan and the D30 fans are naturally quiet with amazing airflow at the same time. I can't hear the AIO at all besides the quiet fans. No pump noise and I can't even hear the pump fan even though it's spinning at a fast speed.
10/10 AIO. HIGHLY recommend! Amazing aesthetics and even better performance than I was expecting. Very happy I purchased this before there were any reviews out a few weeks ago. Great work, Phanteks!
I am disappointed. I bought an entire fan kit to install in my evolv x2 case, 3 pack of reverse fans, the glacier d30, and a single reverse fan only to get halfway through the build to realize that I'm going to need a hub to make the fans work. I would have bought the hub if they just put a notice on their freaking page that explained that I needed it! OR at the very least, Phanteks should provide an adapter. Apparently they do, but only if you specifically ask support for it. How long is the wait for that?! WTF even is that?! Now I'm having to wait until July 3rd at the earliest to finish my computer build and its literally because I can't power my freaking fans! 3 weeks all because they don't tell you that you need the fan hub to get everything working properly. To be honest, this is a bs money grab and it baffles me that they thought THIS was the best approach. honestly, on my next build I'm not using any phanteks stuff. Am I going to fall victim to another one of their money grabbing schemes? To get through a build and to a point of no return and then be stuck because you guys decided to create a proprietary plug with no adapters?! The amount of time i've wasted waiting on all these bs cables and adapters and special order crap from phanteks is ridiculous! I'm beyond pissed off. It makes no sense. You want to capture people and keep them in your little phanteks ecosystem, thats fine, but be forthcoming about it! Its not hard. Its like Phanteks is ran by idiots. This is my second case and last build with ANY of their products. I'd return all this stuff if it didnt mean i'd be waiting a whole other month or two. Evolv X2 case is beautiful. Its a shame that Phanteks allowed idiots to make stupid marketing decisions.
Love it so far. Quiet. Easy to control through my motherboard, so don't need the HUB. Love the extra RGB on the side when going for a certain look.
Only thing I would change is that tubes should be adjustable.
