The D-RGB lighting is integrated and visible from all sides of the D30-120 fan. The blades reflect the light coming from the Halos lighting ring inside the frame. Compatible with Digital-RGB equipped motherboards and Phanteks Digital-RGB products.
30 mm of performance: On a radiator or behind restrictive mesh/dust filters, the 30 mm thick frame and blades provide plenty of air pressure to keep things cool.

The Phanteks D30-120 comes equipped with integrated D-RGB lighting throughout its frame and blades on all sides. Multiple D30-120 fan frames can be linked together as one with bridge connectors and screw cover plates to reduce cables, resulting in extremely clean builds.

The D30-120 combines premium D-RGB lighting with 30 mm thick and aerodynamic fan blades inspired by the ultimate T30 fan, which makes it a true premium D-RGB fan for modern systems. The D30-120 comes in two airflow direction models, regular and reversed. This unique option allows for the ultimate fan configuration for any system.

Love these fans

I love these fans so much, the only reason I'm giving 4/5 is because I had to order this single fan because on of the power bridge connectors from one of my sets of 3 would not stay in the little locks where it clicks in, however I was able to use this extra fan to replace an older fan that wasn't this kind so it wasn't a waste of money

The D30 fans are amazing.. the build quality is next level.. and running two fans off one wire is a bonus.

Great fans and easy install.

These are some great looking fans, and I was VERY happy with the ease of install. They are simple to daisy chain and come with all the adapters and accessories you could need connecting to case RGB controllers or direct to motherboard. Glad I purchased.

Dazzling Visuals, Design Disappointments

The Good
Packaging is impressively presentable and professional
The DRGB lighting effects look fantastic once set up

The Not-So-Good
Shipping took longer than the advertised 3-4 business days
While instructions were adequate, installation wasn't intuitive enough and required searching YouTube videos for proper examples
Connection mechanism needs design improvement - the force required to connect fans together led to breaking 2 IN connectors due to easy misalignment
RGB implementation is misleading - only features 15 LEDs with mirrored effect, which wasn't clearly advertised on the website (confirmed by SignalRGB and other users)
Potential reliability concerns based on previous experience with Phanteks fans failing after approximately 2 years

Verdict
The D30-120 fans deliver on aesthetics but have some design flaws in the connection system and potentially misleading marketing regarding the RGB implementation. Long-term reliability remains a question mark.

Good performance but needs better QA checking

Fans are very high quality and runs spectacularly with very little noise and sound even at higher power, however a couple of the corner pieces are shaped incorrectly which causes the little plastic edge pieces to snap off very easily. Luckily all the fans came with extra covers and wires so it wasn’t a super big issue, but very unfortunate since I now have 2 unusable cords due to that. I ended up having to change the wrongly shaped fans (2 of them) and move them into the middle of the 3 fan setup so the corner piece wouldn’t be utilized.
