I think the fans look great overall and they perform about as well as I might have expected. I like the ability to daisy chain them together and minimize the amount of clutter that RGB fans can quickly create. With an existing adapter cable, I was even able to integrate them into my existing Corsair Lighting Node Core to control the RGB lighting effects.
That last bit was something I feel as though I shouldn't have had to do, and the reason I've knocked a off my rating. I think if you're purchasing a 3-pack of these fans that the Phanteks Nextlinq hub should be included in order to properly control them. I'm fine with opting for open source solutions if you feel inclined to do so, but the product should come with everything in-box ready to go, using their solution as other vendors do.
For now I'll continue as is, controlling them with my Corsair Lighting Node Core (which come with my 3-pack of Corsair LL140 fans, mind you..) because I don't like the way a lot of open source solutions work nor do I want to install Asus Armoury Crate if I can avoid it to control with my motherboard.
